A Busy Day

Well, it is the end of my first full day in Colorado! We spent the morning cutting up rhubarb and peaches, then figured out a menu of different dishes to freeze for when the baby comes, and after that, hit the stores to get the ingredients! We also stopped by Krista's in-laws for lunch! After a quick trip home and a cat nap by Krista, we headed to the prenatal appointment with the midwife.

As per many of your requests, here is a shot of the belly, which is now measuring 40! Doesn't she look great?

Krista's midwife, Judy, is a wonderful Christian lady. And the prenatal appointment was a great learning experience for me! I heard a LOT of terminology that I have never heard before! Ah, the joys of having a pregnant sister....fun and educational!

We were all rejoicing that the baby's head is still down, and that Krista's iron levels are up to 12.2! That was a huge answer to prayer!

This afternoon the mass food production began and then ended with four different main dishes and some applesauce finished and frozen! Dechi's brother Luke came over for the night too, and we all celebrated our accomplishment with ice cream. So it was a busy but productive day!

How exciting! What a great idea to make all of that food ahead of time too. That will be one less thing for them to think about when the baby comes. I'll be keeping all of you in my prayers!!! Let us know when the big day comes!
