God's Faithfulness

I have shared a little bit about my overseas trip and the effect that it had on my life. One of the big things that it changed was my perspective of God's faithfulness. I was very scared before we left, knowing that I was going to a dangerous place, and my mind ran through all of the worst possible scenarios. But thankfully I went, and I witnessed firsthand God's protection, His working things out in amazing ways, and making everything go so smoothly! I also learned alot about His plan for all nations to know Him as Savior and to bring glory and praise to Him.

It was a blessing to be able to work alongside the workers there and see how God is using their gifts and wisdom to help bring people to a saving knowledge of Him!

During my time over there, I really wanted to express my gratitude and what I was feeling to the Lord, and this poem is what came out of this time. Lord, may this continue to be my prayer and my confidence!

Thank you Lord for how You've shown Your loving care for me.
Your grace and lovingkindness have been very clear to see.
For by Your strength and love for me, You have brought me here
And showed that when I trust in You, I have no need to fear.

I can feel Your presence in the gentle breeze that blows.
A powerful reminder that always seems to show,
That when I trust and give myself completely to Your care,
I can walk in confidence for You are always there.

So as I travel on each day and live my life for You,
May Your truths be evident in all I say and do.
Please give me strength to show Your love & give me eyes to see.
Mold me into the person You created me to be.
