I was so disappointed that I had not purchased a ticket for this event before they had sold out, especially after I found out that alot of my friends and family were going! So you can imagine my delight when, a half an hour before the show started, I received a call from a friend saying that they had an extra ticket! I couldn't believe it, and let out an excited scream! It was a very fun show. The "culinary specialist" demonstrated ten different recipes out of the Cooking School cookbook that we all received, and they looked and smelled so delicious! We also received a goodie bag filled with coupons and magazines, and participated in drawings for prizes! And several people that I know won! It was a very fun evening! After the show, I met up with my mother and Joyce and Susanna Rairdon, who were also at the show, and we all went out to Perkins! We had so much fun, and were laughing until the tears were streaming from our eyes! I had such a wonderful night! I am so grateful that the Lord provided a way for me to go!Friday, March 23, 2007

I only found out about it last week, when they were sold out. I'm glad you got to go and enjoy the fun! You'll have to put the fun recipes on your blog! :)
This was so much fun!! It was great to be able to get together afterwards with just us gals!! I'm so glad you could make it!
So happy you were able to go!! Let's try some recipes together soon. Maybe when Hanna and you can come over we can make something special. How does next week sound?
