This past Saturday, Mara and I hit a couple of the thrift stores in our town. Now in the past, I have had very bad luck shopping at thrift stores, so I was a little skeptical that I would find anything. But I found some great items! I purchased a long khaki skirt, a long black skirt, a pair of Silver brand jeans, a purple corduroy blazer, and a navy button down shirt, all for $29! I was just tickled to actually find some cute clothes that were in great condition, and at such a reasonable price! You can't even get a nice shirt for $30 anymore!
So if there are any girls out there like me who have been intimidated by thrift stores, let me encourage you to take a chance and check these stores out! You never know what treasures may await! (And your checkbook will thank you too!)
