God's hand was evident in all that we did; He truly did make a way for us! Our flights went well and our luggage arrived too! We also survived the bus rides despite the insane driving! We saw several overturned busses, so that is a great reminder to never take God's protection for granted!
We taught Conversational English to university students, and spent our free time going out and spending one-on-one time with them. We were also mentored by the long-term workers that we stayed with, and they taught us valuable lessons about the culture and how to be relevant in it, and also how to use discussion openers to be able to share about Jesus! And praise the Lord, each of our team members was able to share with at least one student! I really enjoyed my time with these workers; we had wonderful times of fellowship and laughter with them!
It was great to be able to go back and renew some of the friendships that were formed with students from last year, and also to build new relationships! Please continue to be in prayer for this country in which we were serving! Pray that the Lord will continue to work among this people group and that He will use the time we had with the students and the things we shared with them to draw them into relationship with Jesus. Also please be in prayer for the long-term workers there; it is difficult work, and they need the support! We witnessed first-hand answers to prayers that were prayed on our behalf and on behalf of the country and its people! So thank you again for your encouragement and support in this ministry!

Good to have you back home again, Karen! What a blessing your life is to so many.
It was so wonderful being with you on this adventure Karen! You are a blessing to me.
Are there particular things we should be praying for?
Thanks Amy!
Yes, there are some particular things that you can be praying for. Please pray for the country in general, that God would pierce the darkness and reveal Himself to the people there, as well as to bring about justice in place of the corruption that is there now.
Pray for the students we were in contact with, that Jesus would draw them to Himself. And also pray for strength and encouragement for the long-term workers there! Thank you so much for your prayers!
