Immeasurably BIG!!

Our Sunday school class has been studying the book of John, and yesterday we reached the end of the book and finished it up. I found it most amazing and wonderful that after studying the entire book and hearing the accounts of all of the great things that Jesus did, John summarized it all in the final verse by making this point....."Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written."
This reminded me of one of my favorite songs, The Love of God. The last verse of the song really fits well with the verse....
Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade, to write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry. Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.
O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure The saints’ and angels’ song.
Isn't it wonderful to know that we serve and belong to a God whose love and power cannot be fathomed or written about? Praise Him!
