Making Lefse

This morning, I went over to my Grandma's house for our annual tradition of lefse-making. And to my great delight, my Uncle Norm and Aunt Annie were there for the two weeks leading up to Christmas! I had so much fun visiting and flipping the lefse, that before I knew it, we were done! And we even got to split a lefse to "test it out"! It was delicious! Here is a peek at the process:

Grandma got the cold dough out of the fridge..

...And then began the work of rolling out each piece of lefse!

My job was to lift the lefse...

...And then cook them on the lefse griddle.

Grandma and Aunt Annie tasted the finished product! Yum!
P.S. To those of you with Facebook, check out the video I uploaded of the lefse making!

What a fun day Karen! I love that Grandma has flour all over herself in that last picture. She is SO wonderful!
