I was privileged, along with a few others, to be invited to a Palestinian dinner at the home of a couple that goes to my church. We had appetizers of pastry pouches with sheep cheese, meat and bread pastries, and falafel cakes with tahini and hummus! It was delicious! Then it was on to the main course...
Tabouleh SaladWe were served baked chicken, spiced rice with roasted pine nuts and almonds, an eggplant/tomato dish, creamy cucumbers with yogurt, tabouleh, and a green and red pepper salad. And for dessert, yummy baklava and Turkish Delight! It was such a fun night of food and fellowship, and I really had a great time! Plus, I have some great new recipe ideas to try out!

How fun! I would have enjoyed this as well!!!
Blakes absolute favorite thing in the world is baklava. He would live on it if I knew how to make it! :)
Your post is making me so hungry!
Hello! It was nice seeing you - even if it was brief - the other day!
I thought I'd say hello since it has been awhile!
