We had our first blizzard here in Colorado since my arrival here in January. Coming from MN, I wasn't too excited about seeing more snow, but it was nice to be able to get some cooking and baking done inside while the snow was blowing and the wind was blustery.
AND for the first time since I was a preteen girl without the grown-up responsibilities that come with such precipitaton (such as shoveling), I had the pleasure of frolicking through the snow with complete abandon! Of course, it did help to have a little niece to play with. Somehow kids make everything more fun!

While we were cooking, I brought in a pan of snow to keep Sabria occupied.
She didn't know what to think at first.....
...but after I flopped around in the snow with her, she started to like it!

A good day to be bundled up and inside!
